Vision & Mission
To produce a physician who is well informed about medico legal responsibilities in practice of medicine & to train competent expert in Forensic medicine.
Educating ethics to medical students, application of standard guidelines for safe practice, and also protecting themselves from civil torts, consumer, and criminal cases which may arise while dealing with patients.
Apart from these duties to enforce law and order and render unbiased justice academically the department is providing training to undergraduate students in performing medico-legal examinations such as age estimation, wound assessment, examination of survivors of sexual assaults and accused persons of rape, and also a drunken person
